Verify your Identity Before enrolling through the Health Insurance Marketplace®, we must verify your identity to protect your personal information.
Why do I need to verify my identity?
We verify your identity to ensure no one else applies for your health coverage or creates an account without your knowledge. The questions asked as part of this "Identity Verification or ID Proofing" process would be difficult for anyone but you to answer.
The credit bureau generates these questions from public records and your credit report.
Expect topics like:
- Addresses: Current and past locations you have lived
- Banking and Credit Cards: Financial institutions where you may have current or past accounts
- Mortgages: Current or past mortgages
- Loans: Current or past loans, including auto, student, or home equity
- Employment: Addresses or names of current or past employers
You can verify the information by looking up your credit report if you can't remember the answers. Please visit the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau website to learn how to access your free credit report.
Verify your Identity
Tell us about yourself. Use your complete name as it appears on your legal documents (like your driver's license or Social Security card).

Revoked Permission Alert
Permission to the application you are currently working on has been revoked.
To proceed with the EDE enrollment process, it is imperative that you re-obtain permission.
info_outline
What does this mean?
The EDE system grants permission to only one agent at a time for each customer's application. If another agent, either on the current platform or a different EDE platform,
obtained EDE permission, it automatically revokes the previous agent's access.
